Lalaguna Mangrove Ecopark is a community-based eco-tourism destination located in Barangay San Isidro, Lavezares. It is a vast 300-hectare protected mangrove forest and marine sanctuary known for its serene natural beauty and rich biodiversity. The eco-park features lush mangroves, crystal-clear waters, and diverse wildlife, including fish, crabs, sea urchins, fruit bats, birds, and even wild monkeys. Visitors can explore the area through a bamboo-and-concrete boardwalk, climb to a hilltop view deck for panoramic scenery, or enjoy activities such as boating, kayaking, swimming, and nature trekking. Lalaguna Mangrove Ecopark is a nationally recognized model for community-based tourism, having received awards for Best Practices in Community-Based Tourism and sustainable livelihood development.
