About this event
An annual fisherfolk gathering along Lavezares Bay celebrating the seafaring heritage of the four BIRI-LAROSA towns and surrounding barangays. The festival features sail boat races and manual/motorized banca races, drawing twenty to thirty participants from the BIRI-LAROSA protected fisherfolk municipalities and an audience of three to five thousand onlookers and residents at the Bay. Held every August twenty-first in tribute to the seafarers and fisherfolk of Lavezares.
